Propane Heat Versus Portable Heater?
We live in a small travel trailer with propane heat system, was wondering which would be less expensive to use, the propane heat or buying a small electric space heater.
Any Recommendations For A Small, Portable And Clean Burning Propane Heater?
I would look into a Glo-Warm Blue Flame heater if your primary concern is for clean, smell/odor free. The heaters are vent free but the require a 100lb tank. Most are mounted to the wall but some look like little stoves.
I have a forced air propane heater but in an enclosed room, I get a headache after about an hour of use. The Glo-warm (30k btu) that we have in the basement does not have that issue and there’s no vent. I have a CO detector with a digital read out it hardly goes up after hours of use.
I guess you could create a metal stand for one and use it with a 100lb tank if you planning on using it indoors. If your planning on using it outside, any forced air propane heater would do.
What Is The Best Portable Propane Heater To Purchase Dyna-log Or Mr.heater?
Never used Dyna-glo. Have OLDER Mr. Heaters that work pretty good.
NOTE: NEWER heaters have oxygen sensors and do NOT work well above 6,000 feet.
Compare Propane On A Little Portable Heater To The Propane On The Portable Gas Grill?
These little portable propane heaters can be used with a 20 gal tank — is this the same system we would use on our portable gas grills?
Propane Heater And Portable Tank Question?
I now have an electric heating system however just bought one of those 15K / 30K BTU Comfort Glow blue flame propane wall mount heaters for emergency purposes just in case the electric was to go out. I would like to know if I can safely use a 20 lb propane cylinder tank (like a grill tank) outside for supplying the propane to this heater? Additionally, if I were to use this sized tank, how long would a full tank supply propane to the heater?
